Deepali

Domestic/Sexual Violence Advocate & Outreach coordinator

Deepali is a domestic violence, sexual assault advocate and also the community outreach coordinator at Saheli. She joined Saheli in 2020.  As part of the Saheli’s team, she is committed to empowering women as she feels no woman should be in a situation where she feels hopeless or vulnerable. Deepali aims to connect and grow Saheli’s mission and services for underserved immigrant women in addition to growing collaboration with community partners. 

Deepali is currently working on her Non-Profit Management Certification from Harvard University. Deepali has a master’s in communications from the University of Missouri, Columbia and an undergraduate in History from Delhi University. Prior to joining Saheli she was production assistant at ABC TV affiliate in Columbus, Ohio. 

Deepali is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and conversational Urdu.
