Three Saheli board members met with nine women from the the Crises Team of the India Society of Worcester for a very constructive meeting to explore ways to collaborate. The Worcester team is doing great work helping survivors of gender based violence, running a free Health Stop Clinic every Wednesday night, and assisting families in crises in many different ways. Saheli and the Crises Team will work together to help survivors, connect women to immigration and family law attorneys, share financial aid information and provide food and transportation to those who have no one to turn to. This collaboration will allow Saheli to help more women and expand the geographic range of its services. For more information about how you can become involved please write to info@saheliboston.org.
