for South Asian and Arab Girls
Are you a high school senior pursuing higher education but needing financial support? We are awarding scholarships of $1000-$2000 to three girls or women from South Asian and Arab communities in Massachusetts for college tuition and fees.
Saheli recognizes that some BIPOC women and girls and people of color may hesitate to apply for opportunities unless they meet every qualification perfectly. We are committed to evaluating candidates holistically and encourage all interested to apply.
What you need to apply:
- College acceptance letter
- Official high school transcript
- Two references (one from an educator)
- Personal statement (approximately 600 words)
Eligibility
- High school senior (class of 2024)
- Girls and women residents of Massachusetts
- South Asian or Arab origin (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, or any Arabic-speaking country)

Application Period
The 2024 application period ends June 30th, 2024.
This is a one-year scholarship, renewable for qualified students.
