Saheli is experiencing significant growth in the number of people being served, the kind of services provided and the increasing recognition of its unique linguistic and culturally rich domestic violence services. To continue this positive trend, Saheli has just concluded its three year strategic plan led by Kiran Uppuluri, Board Member and Supriya Saurabh, President of the Board. Together, Sahelis identified —empowerment of survivors of domestic violence with further economic, legal, and employment assistance, reaching out to new and more diverse South Asian communities and diversifying itself internally, and becoming more skillful in addressing the needs of the whole family, as its strategic goals for 2018 – 2020.
