Bollywood has given us several legends in music and film over the years. One such legendary film director is Hrishikesh Mukherjee, lovingly referred to as Hrishi da. Who can forget his movies such as Anupama, Anand, Abhimaan, Anuradha, Guddi, Bawarchi, Namak Haram, Golmaal, Chupke Chupke and Mili? Hrishi da’s movies famously depicted Indian middle class lives and their stories. His movies also gave us melodious and unforgettable songs.
On May 7th 2016 at the National Heritage Museum in Lexington, we offer you “A Musical Journey with Hrishikesh Mukherjee” to celebrate this great man’s contributions to Hindi film music. Children under 8 regrettably not permitted (above 8 need tickets).
