Coming in the fall, another new community service from Saheli. With a grant from SABA – USA, Saheli will offer free legal assistance in many areas of the law: immigration, family, social security and disability, and employment this fall. South Asian community members can call the Saheli office to make an appointment to meet with an attorney to discuss their issues privately and be referred to affordable legal assistance. Women, survivors of domestic violence, abandoned wives and children will be given priority, others are also welcome.
